Terms of Service

Terms for providing Slotio, an online booking system delivered as software as a service (SaaS) exclusively for businesses and legal entities.

2. Subject of the service

The provider operates the Slotio online booking system available mainly at myslotio.com and related subdomains. The service enables management of bookings, calendars, staff, customers and related communication.

The service is intended exclusively for businesses and legal entities. By registering, activating a trial, ordering a plan or using paid features, the customer confirms that it acts in the course of business or on behalf of a legal entity and not as a consumer. Mandatory rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.

3. Contract and account

The contract is formed when registration is completed and confirmed by the provider, or when a trial is activated or the selected plan is paid. The customer must provide truthful, complete and current information, including company, billing and contact data where required.

The customer is responsible for protecting login credentials and for the actions of every person granted account access. The provider may reject a registration or suspend an account where there is a reasonable suspicion of breach of these terms, law or security rules.

4. Price, payments and service delivery

  • The service price is listed in the current pricing at myslotio.com/cenik; prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment is made cashlessly through the payment infrastructure shown at order, especially Stripe.
  • Subscriptions are paid monthly or annually in advance according to the selected plan. If a plan is set to renew automatically, it renews for the same next billing period unless the customer cancels it in advance.
  • For an annual plan, the provider sends a renewal reminder to the contact e-mail at least 15 days before renewal.
  • After notice and expiry of an additional 7-day cure period, an unsuccessful payment may lead to restriction or temporary suspension of the service.
  • Slotio is delivered as a cloud service. After successful payment, access to the selected plan is activated electronically; no physical goods are delivered.

5. Cancellation, refunds and data after termination

The customer may cancel a subscription in the administration or by e-mail to billing@myslotio.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless expressly stated otherwise.

Refund rules are described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable unless that policy or the provider expressly states otherwise.

After the contract ends, the production account usually remains available for 30 days in a restricted export mode. Production data is deleted no later than 60 days after the export period ends, and backups are overwritten in the ordinary backup cycle no later than 90 days after production data deletion.

Accounting, tax, security and evidentiary records may be retained longer where required by law or needed to protect legal claims.

6. User obligations

  • use the service in accordance with law and these terms
  • not upload illegal, harmful or false content
  • ensure a legal basis for customer data entered into the system
  • not upload special categories of personal data under Article 9 GDPR, especially health or biometric data, unless agreed in writing
  • not bypass technical restrictions, security features or plan limits

7. Liability and availability

The provider uses reasonable efforts to keep the service available, secure and maintained, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless a separate SLA is agreed in writing. Planned maintenance, updates and security interventions may be performed.

The provider is not responsible for performance supplied by the customer to its end customers, third-party outages, force majeure, indirect damage, lost profit or loss of business opportunity.

Unless law provides otherwise, the provider’s total liability to the customer for one or more related events does not exceed the fees actually paid for the service during the previous 12 months. This limit does not apply to intentional harm, gross negligence or rights that cannot be validly limited.

8. Intellectual property

The software, design and service content are intellectual property of the provider or its licensors. The user receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for the subscription term and within the selected plan.

9. Personal data protection

For data about the customer, its users, contact persons and website visitors, the provider acts as controller; details are in the Privacy Policy. Cookie information is available in the Cookie Policy.

For personal data of end customers and other customer data uploaded to the service, the customer acts as controller and the provider acts as processor. Processing details, security, subprocessors, transfers and cooperation are governed by the public Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

10. Changes, governing law and contact

The provider may reasonably change these terms, especially following changes to law, service functions, pricing model or infrastructure. Material changes will be communicated by e-mail or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect.

If the customer disagrees with a material change that materially worsens its position, it may terminate the contract no later than the effective date of the change with effect on the day before that date.

These terms may be displayed in other languages. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the English version prevails if translations conflict. These terms are governed by Czech law and disputes are resolved by the competent Czech courts unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
